The Northern Nuclear Alliance (NNA) is pleased to confirm their Skills & Capabilities Breakfast is 22nd April.
The STEM Talent Pipeline: Co-Designing a Career-Ready Curriculum with Industry Leaders
This event will bring together the North West’s Skills & Capabilities community together to collaborate with local educators and identify shared needs for the future
We are pleased to announce our first speaker will be: Chris Hillidge (Director of STEM at The Challenge Academy Trust) primary and secondary schools in Warrington & Priestley College)
Chris has responsibility for the design and delivery of the STEM curriculum at a multi-academy trust based in Warrington which serves around 12,000 2-19 years olds. Chris has a strong track record of forging powerful partnerships with leading industry and educational organisations, including United Utilities, Cavendish Nuclear, Oxford University, and the University of Glasgow. He is currently working with The Royal Academy of Engineering & Engineering UK on a national initiative to influence curriculum change to advance gender balance in STEM education & industry. As the North West lead for AI in Education and a founding member of the National Institute of Teaching’s Digital Literacy Expert Group, Chris is at the forefront of driving innovation and inclusion in education.
