Sector Partner Announcement – Inclusion and Diversity in Nuclear

Inclusion and Diversity in Nuclear (IDN) is delighted to announce Urenco as one of our industry partners for 2021.
Since 2019, co-founders Monica Mwanje of MM Creative Solutions and Callum Thomas of Thomas Thor have mainly funded IDN to provide a wealth of information, resources and events that have engaged so many across the nuclear industry.

Recent successes for IDN include our 2020 conference which, despite the pandemic, drew an unprecedented online audience of over 500, with a global reach.

We’re aiming for bigger and better things for 2021 and beyond, and to do that, we made a call for support from our colleagues in the industry.

Quote from Michael Bryant, D&I Lead at Urenco’s Head Office:

Urenco has laid some solid foundations in its commitment to becoming a more diverse and inclusive organisation. We are extending our diversity and inclusion (D&I) programme and embedding it into our business strategy to ensure we can accelerate our progress in all areas of D&I. We look forward to collaborating with IDN and the nuclear industry to strengthen our own D&I programme and contribute to a truly inclusive nuclear industry.

Quote from IDN co-founders: “We are pleased that Urenco is supporting our work. Their international footprint and network will be invaluable in helping us to share our work and facilitate change towards a truly inclusive nuclear industry. We look forward
to working together with Urenco and other industry partners on exciting projects we have in store.”
